Yucky Combination

I had to write and post about what I ate last night. After I ate it, I thought about it and realized I am definitely preggo!

For dinner, I had leftover Noodles' Indonesian Peanut Sautee with Tofu (extra spicy), three kiwis and an orange. OMG.

Then later, I decided I was still starving so I had a piece of Kurt's home-made (by my friend, Molly - I could never make this work of art) birthday cheesecake that was covered with crumbled peanut butter cups, Heath bars, carmel and chocolate. I then immediately ate a bowl of Jalepeno Doritos (Kurt bought them to try). OMG!!! It's now the morning and I want to throw up just thinking of this weird combination of foods and how it seems so awesome and normal at the time! I'm glad we don't normally have cheesecake and Doritos around the house or that could be trouble :) :)

Love,
Ann

Room Sharing

I always REALLLLLLLY wanted a sister. I've never really gotten over it that I don't have one. I wanted to share clothes, rooms and whatnot. At first, Belle was insistent she wanted a sister but a day later came around:

Belle: "I'm okay with a brother."
Me: "That's good... What happened?"
Belle: "Even if it's a boy, I'll lock him in my room and say, 'Put on the high heels and the dress. And by the way, here's the lipstick.'"

LOL. Ahhhh...the joys of being an older sibling. The pure hell of a being a younger... until the teenage years when the older gets away with NOTHING and the younger gets away with GENOCIDE. Not that I have bitter older child syndrome or anything... *grits teeth, smiles sweetly*

So she's also insistent that if Penelope is a girl, she wants to share a room with her. As cute as I think this is, I think she'll outgrow this plan QUICK-LIKE. I asked her tonight if she'd still want to share if it were a boy, "No thanks." So at least that's covered.

We have three bedrooms upstairs at the new house: obviously one for us, Belle and Mr. or Miss Penelope. Am I mean to not let her share when she's asking to do this?

Much love!
Ann

P.S. The name's not really Penelope. As cute as I think it is, it's just a nickname Belle made up. :) I think it's cute, so....it has stuck!

Week 6

TheBump.com tracks preggo progress and gives size comparisons each week, along with what the baby is busy doing. Here's some hot scoop on what Baby Penelope (what Belle calls him/her) is up to during week ahead (awww):

:) :) :) So cute!!!!!!

Yay! FarmBaby!

Her: “Hello, Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates. How can I help you?”
Me: “Hi, I’m a patient there. I was wondering if I could come in for a pregnancy test.”
Her: “Sure! Today?”
Me: “Yes, that would be great.”
Her: “Okay, did you have a positive home test?”
Me: “Yes. Four of them.”
Her: “Hahahahaha. Congratulations! You are pregnant! No need to come in.”

OMG. LOL! As soon as she laughed, I realized how crazy I sounded. I'm not even a first-time preggo...it's just been awhile (i.e. since the Stone Ages). I will admit to taking four more additional tests over the course of the following week, mainly because...ya know...they were around. *winks*

Anyway, so yay. We are preggo. We're hoping and praying all goes well. We are a little over five weeks. :)

Much love,
Us
