Hi, everyone!
We came home on Sunday and are doing amazing. I'm continuing to recover from my c-section. Thank you to EVERYONE for all of your calls, texts, emails, comments and facebook messages and comments :) It means so much to us! So sorry if I haven't yet responded. Every free second I'm not holding the baby, I catch myself falling asleep because of the pain meds. I'm trying to wean myself off though so I'm not so tired. :)
The baby is an absolute dream and I'm sooooooooooooo in love with him. I cannot IMAGINE my life without him. I adore and I just love him soooooooooooo much. He is such a a good baby. I spend ALL of my time holding him and staring at him. Ahhhhhh...it's the best feeling in the world. I don't even want to sleep because I'd rather just hold him, smile at him and watch him sleep :) I don't want to even miss one baby breath. Truly there is nothing like holding your own newborn baby. :) :) *sigh*
I hold him almost all the time but he does love his glider and baby papasan. Today we started tummy time. He seemed to like it. :) Belle put a blanket in front of the tv and he watched Scooby Doo with her for a little while. It was pretty cute because he seemed to really be staring at the t.v. even though obviously I know he wasn't too interested in Scooby and Shaggy.
Kurt's an amazing dad and a wonderful husband. I can't imagine recovering from this c-section without him. He's the greatest. The baby definitely takes after him with his calm and sweet personality. His brother also said maybe he has a little of Grandpa Fred in him, as this is the way Gpa Fred was as well. He is named after Gpa Fred with his middle name (Wiese) so maybe that is really the case. :)
Mucho love to all,
Ann
